Not sure if anyone interest in a new Forum "Immigration"? If so, we can ask Admin to add.
The topic can be any range from sponsorship, visiting America, rule and regulation, ICE, etc

I had some experiences in helping other esp sponsor, visiting and don't mine sharing.

Hope to expand the knowledge to our community so we don't need to hire lawyer.

From my experience, its very hard to do but not impossible. I guess its on a case by case basis and how much bribe you're willing to offer. My family had tried to do this for my uncle's mother in law in PP, but was denied. They gave us no reason, just flat out said no. We didn't bribe them, so I'm guessing that was the reason. Just sharing my personal experience. We just wanted her to visit America before she die and they wouldn't even let her because we didnt slip them some dough lol....So you might want to bribe them or have some sort of secret connection with them.

In order to visit America: General rule of thumb and this does not mean US/Khmer Embassy will grant visa. As Happy stated, they have option to not even bother review your paperwork and deny you on the spot. no question asked. The deny usually stated under section 214(b). A simple term of section 214(b) mean, they don't believe in you, period. But you can always reply DS-160. Usually, the 2nd round always a green light :). Part of making money.

Here are some tips:
  • have bank account
  • prove/convince that you will go back to srok Khmer
  • What's holding you back from not staying in USA?
  • Show document(s) that you have business and need to come back to homeland
  • Have children to take care off
The main point is try to convince the interviewer that you will definitely come back

Yes, your cousin in USA can file the DS-160 for the person in srok Khmer. What the USA person need is the first page of Khmer passport so everything match on the record. This is a B2 visa. After finished, page the confirmation page and go setup interview date at https://evisaforms.state.gov/default.asp?postcode=PHP&appcode=3
my cousin is an idiot and I no longer speak with him, I will not be passing this imformation to him. I hope he rots in hell....

  • The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;
  • That they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;

I'm telling you, it seem like they only make for the Rich... I did wrote an email to Khmer Embassy about this section 214(b) and they reply that they are protected and cannot be sued. They are trained to know right away if the person is lying hehehee. I stated back that you are better than the CIA working the with President of the United Stated.

No photo needed. Srok Khmer person, should have all those ready. Like, 2 passport photo. Any documents bring to the interview must have it translate to English and notarize.

USA person can email DS-160 confirmation page and Interview letter to person in Srok Khmer. If USA say they will sponsor, file I-134 and sign. Mail original I-134, 3 yrs Tax Transcript, and employment verification from HR.

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-134.pdf

http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript

you can now get tax transcript online.
do you mean Mail original I-134, 3 yrs Tax Transcript, and employment verification from HR to the person who live in Srok Khmer?
