Most a series add here or khmeravenue are from Gu Long or Jin Yong. Probably most khmers dunno that all wuxia or kap daow (dunno how to write so try with spelling) are from a popular novels from a popular novelist. That why we have a remakes each 5 years, but they must follow from the novels.

We can start here to explain some connection between some tv series and explain how that connection affect another series. Most peoples know TVB series, but because they CHANGE so much the plot from the novel some novelists banning them. They can't take ANYMORE (exemple Jin Yong novelist from Condor Heroes series) any his novel to make a adaptation serie. That why TVB cannot make anymore a good ''ancient serie''. They doesn't have anymore a permission for it.

What is your favorite series from Gu Long? Who is your favorite character in all his novels or series?

Personally, I am tired of all the remakes. I read that China is in the process of producing a new Return of the Condor Hero. Seeing the same stories get adapted makes me nauseous.

But to answer your question, my favorite series based on Gu Long's novel is The New Adventure of Chor Lau Heung. I know that the series wasn't the most accurate to the novel but it's such a fun series to watch. And of course, Michael Miu was excellent in his role.

Re-make are too played out. I don't even bother watching the series because I know what's going to happen. It's just different people staring the same role. I need something new.

I do like Against the Blade of Honour 1994, Louis Koo looks good in there.

But to answer your question, my favorite series based on Gu Long's novel is The New Adventure of Chor Lau Heung. I know that the series wasn't the most accurate to the novel but it's such a fun series to watch. And of course, Michael Miu was excellent in his role.

I like watched that series a lot when I was young. Always though he was handsome in there.
