OK, probably this thread is more for the ladies at the forums. I need helps, opinions, and pictures on an updos hairstyle for the holiday party. I don't want anything fancy or complicated. Ladies, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks, lovepink for the videos. I have exactly one month left from today. I have been watching some YouTube videos too, and my hairdresser told me to go Pinterest app to get some ideas. So hopefully for the next few weeks I will have something in mind what kind of updoes. I will try not a promise to post the picture of my head once I get it done ;)

Yeah, no problem. Lol, I am going to continue posting hairstyles videos if you don't mind? I actually enjoy watching step by step instructions for different hairstyles.

Are you doing the holiday up do hairstyle by yourself? or are you asking your hairdresser to do it? I know hairdresser can be pretty expensive. My mom had to pay $270 for just a haircut and dye/bleach.

I would love to see a picture of your hairstyle when you are done.

yes please do, keep posting those videos I really enjoy them too. Your mom updo is very expensive. Where did she go. I don't think I am that talented to do my own hair. I am looking for a style so that I can show to my hairdresser. She charges only $35 to $45 that her price, every affordable.

Yeah, she actually didn't know she was going to pay that much. It was suppose to be around $140, but the hairdresser said for bleaching, 'it will cost a little bit more.' that turned out to be double the price, for a total of $270. She went to a Caucasian hairdresser it wasn't an Asian salon, I dont remember the name of that place though.

I would never pay that much for my hair. I cringe if I had to pay over $100 for my hair. I think the most I pay is about $50-60 that includes the hair cut and the eyebrows.

Oh that is a good price for the hair styling. So, any hairstyle you want she charges that much? Because some hairdresser will charge extra later on if the hairdo is more work for them. If it is the same price for any hairstyle, i will look for a real fancy one for you lol.

Some hairstylists are very greedy. I saw some people walk out the salon with $300-$400 hair cut and style. I couldn't believe in my eyes when I saw the bill. But some hairstylists are pretty reason price. My hairstylist is pretty reasonable with her price. I think she said the most she would charge for an updo is $50. The simple one just $35. I go to her every 10 weeks to do touch on my root and she charges me only $75 plus my hair trim. She is very good with my hair. She takes her time to make sure it match with my previous color. She doesn't like to be rush. She writes down the formula that she uses on me for next time reference. I refer her to a lot of people and every single one of them really love her. I have gone to her for 8 years now. Believe me I got one time just a hair color and style that hairdresser charged me $200 and it wasn't that great. I think when someone get a hair style $200 and up that person must either president of the U.S. or First Lady.
