First Day Of School

Do you remember your first day of school? I remember my dad kept telling me to wake up. "hey get up, you have to go to school." (kindergarten) I didn't even know what school was. I didn't cry but I kept asking my dad if he was going to come back to pick me up. Haha. What was your first day like? Share.

I cried. Didn't respond to anything the teacher ask. I didn't know how to speak English and the whole time, I just wanted to go home. Nothing the teacher teach was going through me.

That is too far back for me to be able to recall my first day. I remember crying a lot in the morning because I hated going to school. My kindergarten year was the worst experience of my life because I always crying before leaving to school. I was always one of those kids that got into trouble for not completing my homework assignment. I cannot give anything specific since I don't, but I know I hated for about half of the year before I got used to it.

Half a year? You must've had it rough to be crying that long. Did the other kids bully you?

I didn't know English either. I remember I did more playing than learning in grade K. I read that kids in other countries start learning number and language at 4 years of age.

My mom was a Elementary teacher, I remembered that i go to school with her everyday. that is why I did not have any memories of the first day of school though..

but i did remember during my school year, the teachers were spoiling me since they were friends to my mom though

Was the spoil a motivation or a detraction to learning? I never got spoiled. But neither of my parents were teachers. Heh. For me it was, "you better read/write, do your homework or else..." My parents always made threats.

just a motivation and got a little more attention than other kids..... I had never have any issued with learning since always doing my home work/listen/always on top .. I was never ever missed any school days since k-12. to me I was enjoyed going to school

No, I was not bullied. I just hated waking up and having to shower. It took me a while.

For some reason I had a hard time waking up on school days but on the weekend I woke up around 5-6am no problem.

next time i will be sure not to eat dinner while reading the forums, haha. the same thing happened to my little niece. she didn't know how to tell her teacher she needed to go so she pooped in her pants.
