I learned that the US government started to feed cows with corn to make them grow in weight more rapidly. Cows naturally eat grass.

Please share what you've learned today.

Well today, sorta, I learned that you no longer need access to a recording studio to make high quality, professional sounding records. All you need is a powerful computer, a DAW (digital audio workstation) like Pro Tools, Reaper, and Reason, and a decent mic. Now of course, even if you have these 3 things at your disposal, you would still need knowledge, skills, and talent to put it all together. I plan on paying for Reason 8, which is gonna cost me 325 dollars cause I can't seem to get a copy anywhere. Another reason why I decided on Reason 8 is because they have lots of support for learning how to use the program and basically, I'm hoping to learn how to become a music producer :D without having to spend a lot of money buying a studio and going to school for it. :D

I am a bit old for this thing :-( but is this any use to you?

old but you might want to try it might work. you need the trail version of Reason though
I need the latest version which is not free :(
It's worth the 325 I'll be paying. ;)
Better than paying Full Sail University 10 grand per quarter.
Reason 8 is a powerful studio-in-a-box DAW software and takes great talent to use.
I'm not 100 percent confident in myself.

sorry, i'm not trying to be an ass like i usually am, i just want you and everyone to be careful when torrenting on piratebay.

i suggest checking private trackers to be more on the safe side. dling through newsgroups is quite popular too.

bottom line, the safest way to do anything online is always through VPN. everything comes with costs.

Please explain.
wiki does it better:
Type A
The theory describes "Type A" individuals as ambitious, rigidly organized, highly status-conscious, sensitive, impatient, take on more than they can handle, want other people to get to the point, anxious, proactive, and concerned with time management. People with Type A personalities are often high-achieving "workaholics" who multi-task, push themselves with deadlines, and hate both delays and ambivalence.[4]
In his 1996 book, Type A Behavior: Its Diagnosis and Treatment, Friedman suggests that Type A behavior is expressed in three major symptoms: (1) free-floating hostility, which can be triggered by even minor incidents; (2) time urgency and impatience, which causes irritation and exasperation usually described as being "short-fused"; and (3) a competitive drive, which causes stress and an achievement-driven mentality. The first of these symptoms is believed to be covert and therefore less observable, while the other two are more overt. [5]
Type B
The theory describes "Type B" individuals as a contrast to those with Type A personalities. People with Type B personality by definition generally live at a lower stress level and typically work steadily, enjoying achievement but not becoming stressed when they do not achieve. They may be creative and enjoy exploring ideas and concepts. They are often reflective.

Yeah, you fit the description of Type A personality. You seem like a driven guy, self-motivated.
