Mother's Dayis a celebration honoring mother and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in Spring.(e.g., April–May in the northern hemisphere, October in Argentina, but northern hemisphere spring, May, in Australia).

The celebration of Mother's Day began in the United Statesin the early 20th century; it is not related to the many celebrations of mothers and motherhood that have occurred throughout the world over thousands of years, such as the Greek cult to Cybele, Tthe Roman festival of Hillaria, or the Christian Mothering Sunday celebration (originally a celebration of the mother church, not motherhood).Despite this, in some countries Mother's Day has become synonymous with these older traditions.

Hug and hug ..kiss on both cheeks.. I do agree with you, my lovely Chenna.
and thank you so much for sharing your happy time with me.....
I believe most men greatly appreciate and understand us ( be a mother) by knowing how hard we have been through to be a mother….hehehehehe.

To be honest, I have a difficult time during my labor for my boys. The oldest one was a Breech baby with natural born. My second son was a pre-mature baby.

is it true that after you give birth you forget the pain that you endured?
to be honest... nope... I remember clearly on my first child since he was the breech baby.I gave him a birth without using any painkiller medication...

hey theary forgot to tell u my happiness. Today my best friend mom woke up from a coma. She was comatosed a year ago. 5 months ago my friends ask me for advice bcuz ive been a nurse for 10+..so i told her to tried fish oil n let them injected in her iv for faster response. Fish oil helps repair alot of cells...so i told her to tried that. i guess it works. She call me today crying n how thankful she is that her mom opens her eyes for the first time in a year. Now they gunna monitor her n try to get the rest of the stuff working. so super excited, i figured i come on her to share my happiness again, as always lol...Thanks for listening to me babe. i love u always

thanks for sharing! my friend's mom fainted on the job and hasn't wake up since. She's been in a coma for close to a year now. I will share this story with him, maybe something like this can be done to his mom to help her wake up.

hi hampster, sorry to hear that bout ur friend. must b devastating nd i can only imagine how he feels....u can tell him to give it a try, it dont hurt. Im sure the dr tried their best helping her. sometimes the least important things ppl tend to forget, my opinion. but there r other therapeutic stuff to help comatose patients. ive dealth with quite a few. to me eventhough they unresponsive nd all, but there is a piece in ur brains thats always alive. i usually talk to them, read them, test them, plays their fav music for them. sum of these lil small things can help them. i even do ROM for them. They can hear u but cant response :( . i have sum that i even see their tears coming out even if theyre comatose. wish ur friend luck nd the best!!

I have no idea. I heard that she was working normally and all of a sudden she just fell unconscious. She was a health conscious person too, always eating right and getting enough exercise. It baffles all of us. It goes to show how uncertain life is in this world.

When the time come it came no matter how health, young, or old u are. The man whom i knew since i was a child passed away today. My parents knew them since he was young back in srok khmer. Everybody in the city always goes to him if they need him to cure unpredictable causes. I'm very sadden to see him leave but then this is life. there's no eternity.

Anyway, want to say early - Happy Mother's Day to all the mother in whole. This weekend I'm taking my parents, wife and of course the kids to Chinese Restaurant. When it come to father's day they forget about me hehehe j/k

On my pre-mature baby, I felt so empty when they sent me home :( feeling a part of me missing... he stayed in hospital a couple month .we visited him a couple time per day .

On my breech baby: Yes, i was scare when they told me the news. I was so concern about my boy more than myself at that time. .He was a strong baby after all..which i was very greatful.... the water broke at 5.30 Am and he was born at 6:30 am ...
